Ted (voiced by Kerry Shale) is an ordinary Chicago construction worker who has dreamed of becoming an archaeologist since childhood, so he often daydreams at work and gets fired repeatedly. After his seventh firing, Ted visits his archaeologist friend Professor Humbert, who has just been invited to explore a major find in an ancient Inca city but is too ill to go. By a twist of fate, Ted is mistaken for the professor and sent to Peru. With young, fiery archaeologist Sarah (voiced by Fiona Glascott), he searches the stunning tropical deserts and jungles for the legendary Inca City of Gold. Joined by Peruvian guide Freddy, mutt Jeff, parrot Belzoni, and even a mysterious mummy guarding the city, they embark on a wild, thrilling adventure. Ted’s character is mainly based on Indiana Jones from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
